QiGong Therapy Certification
Course Length: 4 days (22 hrs total time)
Course Premise: A Clinical QiGong diagnostic and energetic approach to balancing the entire body through the meridian network system to restore health and well-being.
Course Overview: The approach to applying QiGong in the Clinic is complex and requires time, understanding and practice. In this course, we examine methods of emitting Qi from our body, feeling the energy levels in the patient’s body and directing our energy into their meridian system to achieve balance.
Day 1 — Lecture and Medical QiGong
- Discussion of QiGong as Used in the Clinical Setting
- Discussion of the Qi Mechanism, Meridians and Direction of Qi Flow
- Discussion of 3 Methods of Gathering Qi in Preparation of Treatment Demonstration and Pointers of the Qi Gathering Exercises
- Practice of the Qi Gathering Exercises
- Discussion of 3 Methods of Emitting Qi for use in Healing Demonstration and Pointers of the Qi Emitting Exercises
- Practice of the Qi Emitting Exercises
- Discussion and Demonstration of Qi Sensing Methods
- Review of All Material
Day 2 — Clinical QiGong Frontal Procedure Sequence
- Touch Points on Middle & Upper Jiao and Head
- Non-Touch Points on Groin, Legs and Feet
- Touch Points on Feet
- Pulling Qi with Tiger Hand
- Dropping Qi on Point down the Body
- Testing Velocity of Qi, and Amending Issues
- Touch Points on Feet and Legs
- Touch Points on Hands and Arms
- Rapping Point on Head
- Review of Material
Day 3 — Clinical QiGong Back Procedure Sequence
- Review of Previous Day’s Material
- Touch Points on Thoracic Region and Coccyx
- Raking the Spine Method
- Energy Velocity Testing Along Spine
- Sweeping Energy Along Body
- Touch Points on Feet and Legs
- Touch Points on Back
- Touch Points Along Neck and Head
- Sweeping Energy Along Body
- Anchor, Pinch and Pull Method

Day 4 — Clinical QiGong Frontal Closing Sequence
- Touch Points on Chest

Will a Bodyharmonics massage course allow me to practice professionally?
Yes. Students who have gained the Tui Na Chinese Massage Bodyharmonics massage certification (diploma) can have membership & insurance from the Acupuncture-Acutherapy Council which is a voluntary regulatory body with a rigid code of safe and effective practice
